text alignment on main page..can't figure it out..

Using version 1.3.7

I have changed my width to 100% to fill my entire screen because that is the effect that I want for my store. However, my text on the main page in the center is not expanding with the site. I have tried numerous threads, to find my answer but have had no luck. I'm not sure which of these two if at all do I need to change:

NOTE: I DO NOT have the "text-align: block;" in there, that was an error..sorry about that.

Neither of those have anything to do with the width of the center column content. What I see on your home page is a long string (without spaces) that is pushing the sideboxes out of place, not something too small for the space available. (1024x768 monitor) What real-acting text have you tried in the space? Can you put in something that will give an accurate representation of the behavior you see?

Wow! you're right, so sorry, I'm so dense with these things! The long string was not real text with true spaces and was pushing everything over strangely over. I tried real text and everything is working perfectly. So sorry about that!
