Image on Featured Products Sidebox Head

Ok....see, this is where the confusion is lol! The box that I have selected in the layout box controller is called sidebox/custom/featured.php....it is turned on in the left column. There is no sidebox in the layout box controller that is called new products even though that's what the site is calling it right now (white on white of course with yellow highlight).

I know your contrib would make this super easy and I actually did it that way (not with your contrib but with instructions you gave to someone else) on the last site I built but I couldn't find the same instructions again and I REALLY don't want to have to re-do all of this work again. There MUST be a way to get this featured box working without having to re-do everything else.

That is definitely the new products sidebox, and I don't know how activating the featured box in Layout Boxes Controller could have made it appear.

Thank you so much for pointing out the obvious LOL! You were totally right...the box that was showing up was the what's new box and the featured box was only NOT showing up because I didn't put the test product as a featured product. I appreciate the help and the patience!

I am so sorry you have had to do a whole bunch of work that wasn't needed. We have several folks that work on the FAQs and tutorials. Unfortunately we missed that one in screening.

While the steps in the tutorial will work fine, there are unneeded file changes and it is not the recommended way to change the sidebox headers.

Then MAYBE it would be a good idea to delete this tutorial from the list. I went straight to the tutorials instead of the forum so I wouldn't ask a question that has possibly been asked 100 times from people before me.

Or at the very least update the tutorial with the information regarding the mod that makes the fix easier.
