Two attributes for one product - cannot add to cart, cannot view cart, etc

Is this a common issue?

I've set up two attributes for a single product. The attribute options are Men's Large, Medium, Small in one dropdown, and Ladie Large, Medium and Small in another dropdown.

I am pricing by attributes, so each drop down option has a price attached to it.

I am able to select the options, but when attempt to finally add them to the shopping cart the site just hangs waiting for the server to reply.

The other issue, which I'm positive is connected to this, is that I cannot go and view the shopping carts contents once I've attempted to add the items to the shopping cart.

Everything worked fine up until the point that I started pricing by attributes.

You should be able to combine quite a few attributes ...

What version Zen Cart?

Clean install or an Upgrade?
