Is it possible to determine which products show up in the best sellers sidebox? If so, how?

But which table holds the Best sellers info. I'm reinstalling a store for a client and they would like to define the best sellers initially. I've done this once before but can't remember how it did it originally. I could of course great a couple of dummy orders. But the info is obviously in the database somewhere.

No, it's based on the real sale.

But, the info of what is selling is in the DB somewhere, that's how you can generate the sales reports. They system was a list of the top sellers somewhere, a product ID and a value of how many times it has sold. Thus. there must be a way to edit a value.

Go to the products table in the db and edit the products_ordered field
