Header_bg flash BG Sound

Im using coffeecup flash banner maker. I have a bg sound that plays and I have a stop sound button so you can turn it off. Only problem is that whenever you clicka a category link the page reloads and the bg sound repeats again and must be turned off again and again with every new page load.

Ive searched the archives here in vain. Can anyone help with any ideas?

1. Should I just make a flash splash page with sound that links to the main page to avoid the problem?

2. Should I just make a header_bg flash animation and have the short bg sound embedded on page load? Or will that play with each reload as well?

3. Does anyone know if Iframes will help solve the problem?

4. What about turning on the page cache? Would that maybe hold the turn sound off settings between page loads?

Because your page reloads, there is no way you can keep flash playing consistently. The only way to get around this would be by opening a separate window. Like a popup, that has your music embedded into it. You can make it hide behind your main window, however, once the customer exits the website it will still play until they close the window... so maybe a good idea would be not to hide it.
