Remove Price from Quantity 0 Products?

Hi - Right now I have a sold category where I move products (and re-enable them) after they sell. I've had a couple customers express concern that people they bought gifts for will see the price of them if they visit the website (all of my items are one-of-a-kind). I could manually remove that price from all of the products in that category, but theres 300 or so and that would be a pain in the ######## (why won't it let me type b-u-t-t hahaha).

Is it possible to set up an if statement so that products with zero quantity don't display a price?

Well, if someone buys a book or something from Wal-Mart or Target, or anywhere else for that matter, someone can go online and look it up quite easily.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it because the work/time/effort:result ratio is so small.

I'm sure it is possible, but then every time there's an update, you'll have to re-do all your work to change it.

The other option is to make sure your products are set to check inventory and not sell out of stock items, and use your low stock Product Stock report to quickly find and disable products. Then just create new products when you're ready to put something in.

if product quantity > 0 then print price (except in valid php code)
