Problems with new images

All

I am having some trouble uploading some new product images to my site. I have uploaded lots in the past and never had any trouble however I have just uploaded a new set and am now having trouble getting some of them to be viewable. I have checked all the permissions (and tried setting them all to 777 just to be sure) and the files are viewable on my local system (so they are not corrupted in some way) but some just cannot be seen. I am not sure if it is helpful but two links are below (one works and the other does not) - any ideas where to start with this problem?

I just cannot see what might be wrong - it is not zen cart specific but appears to relate somehow to the files on my server and.or the browser. I am at a loss! Please help! :blink:

The images directory is (temporarily viewable).

Nope. I believe that it relates to the images themselves. The image that can be viewed is a jpg in RGB format, intended for display on a screen. The image that can't be viewed is also a jpg, but in CMYK format intended for printing with inks.

Not all browsers can handle images in CMYK color space, and those that can, often make a real mess of it.

Hang on, not as straightforward as I hoped. How do I convert my images to get them into a RGB colour space so that they can be displayed in zencart?

That depends upon what Imaging software you have available and possibly on what operating system you are using.

Personally I just use Photoshop which allows me to create an action that I can apply to a whole load of images at the same time to open them and resave them in RGB color space.
