How to add manufacturer images?

I found about 5 large manufacturer logos and cleaned them up and shrunk to 50 pixels tall. Now I am trying to get them to show up. I have tried adding the image path and it always says the image does not exist even though going to the address shows the image. Why aren't they showing up?

Also, can I make the manufacturer text on product pages link to the manufacturers page?

If you've uploaded the manufacturer images to your_store/images/manufacturers, this is how you do it:
Admin>catalog>manufacturers
Choose the manufacturer you want to add the image to. From the "upload to directory" dropdown box, select the folder that your image is in (manufacturers?). Then in the box that's labeled Or, select an image from file...
Type in the name and extension of the image (i.e. my_image.jpg). Enter a URL and click save.

Thank you! I was adding the /images/.... path. Just the filename and manufacturers from the drop down worked perfectly.

Any idea on my second question? I was surprised the default was to not have a link to the manufacturer page.

I just added Canon. On the admin page it shows the logo but when I go to Canon's manufacturer page I don't see the logo or link to the manufacturer's site.

I believe the manufacturer logo & link only show up when you have the "manufacturer_info.php" sidebox turned on (Admin>Tools>Layout Boxes Controller). If you have that sidebox turned on, whenever a customer is looking at a Canon product, on the side it will show the Canon logo & link.

I'm sure it's possible to have the manufacturer text be a link on the product description page, too advanced for me though:( You could post in the help wanted section and hire someone to code it for you.
