Need help veiwing online catalog!

I'm a new zenner. I have installed zen cart to the server and have begun to enter a few products and categories. When I click " Online Catalog" I get the message that either 1) I have not completed the install or 2) My configure.php files have invalid path info or invalid database-connection information.

I see that both configure.php files have the correct ip address, username, password, and name for the database. I also notice that it looks like the acutal database was created and can be viewed on the server.

I need help. I want to test the few items that I've included in the catalog to see if I'm going in the right direction. Any suggestions out there? I'm in the US and want to resolve this before the clock strikes 12!

Re: Need help veiwing online catalog!

Can you post your includes/configure.php WITHOUT any usernames or passwords. That will help us find the bad path.

Re: Need help veiwing online catalog!

Where you've used ./../, Zen is looking for something like "/var/www/vhost/accountname/public_html/store/" as it states above the line. A relative path does not work well in this situation.

Re: Need help veiwing online catalog!

I just changed the configure.php files' relative paths ( where it asked for complete paths) and I still get the same results.

For examples I changed the define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', './../admin/') to define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', 'https://www.regal-communications.com/zencart/admin/');

I did this and I still get the "Hello. Thank you for loading Zen Cart™." page.

I still need help. I'm trying to test the 2-4 products I loaded in mydatabase.

Just a thought, do I need to change the path to the database to the "complete pateh" as well?

UPDATEUPDATE

Your suggestion worked!

I just contacted the host provider and got the "correct" path.

Thank you for your help.
