Order confirmation email not generated when customers pay using PayPal

Hi,

I recently found out that if customers choose to pay using PayPal, they don't receive an order confirmation email from my website automatically and I also don't receive a copy. I did still receive the payment notification from PayPal. What went wrong? This seems not to happen to customers who choose to pay using bank deposit, they do get an order confirmation email.

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Can you reproduce this situation on-demand? How exactly?
When did you last do a test PayPal transaction yourself?
When did you last receive a successful PayPal order not placed by you, but properly showed up in the admin area?

Thanks for your response. I found out the problem was caused by changes I did in includes/classes/order.php to include thumbnail product images in the order confirmation email.
