New Products

Right now on the home page of my store there is a section for New Products for January - I would like to replace this with featured products, how can I get rid of the New Products for January section?

In the admin section under configuration->Index Listing, set **Show New Products on Main Page **to (0) and set **Show Featured Products on Main Page **to (1)
