Using Zones with adding a lesser add'l item shipping charge

Hi
In this thread, http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56962, you posted a great step by step about cloning zones.

I think this will partially work for me, but in addition, I'd like to offer reduced shipping rates for more items.

For example
Product A, shipping of $2.00, each additional item is .50
Product B, shipping o $3.00, each additional item is .50

and so on.

How would I do this?

thanks!
K
