FedEx integration - sorting out the options.

I'm on ZenCart 1.3.7. I just signed up for a FedEx API account, and within seconds, my store seemed to query FedEx for live rates. This is great!

What I'm confused about is what FedEx module I should or should not be using. 1.3.7 has a 'FedEx Ground' module built in (if I'm not mistaken). A lot of the forum threads seem to refer to user contributions, such as the module by numinix.

Is there a clear 'winner' in terms of FedEx integration?

Fedex never was built into zen cart,
its always been a seperqate module that has been a pain in my ######## since the day it was released,

IF you want to use the fedex mod then you need to use the one from the download section

<s> while trying to install the fedex module, the instructions say to modify this file:

 includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/tpl_footer.php

however, the closest file I can find to that is in:

 includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_footer.php

and even then, it doesn't allow me to change what is written in the instructions..

and your right it should have been in the common folder

is there a way we can add an area like phone option for a order that gets shipped to someone else other than the buyer?
