setting delivery regions

we are a meal delivery service, operating within a city. we want to only deliver to certain areas on certain days, or else charge customers an additional fee.

does anyone know how i can set this up?

ideally, i would like something at the checkout, whereby people are given a choice from a drop down menu of what area they live in, and then it tells them their delivery day... the customer would either confirm this or be given the choice to choose their own day at an additional cost.

any ideas ?

I have the same question for the same reason we are also a food delivery and looking to see how to implement local delivery as the previous poster. I see store pickup (walk in) but I am looking for a way to setup local delivery options (day, time, fee, distance restrictions)

Any suggestions would be mighty helpful
