Can't set dates for featured products

When I add a product to the featured products list (category/featured products) I see where I should be able to add an available and expiry date however, there are no text boxes or buttons to click on to bring up a calendar. There's just nothing there except the Available Date: Expiry Date:

I know this is where it should be because I saw it when I was using 1.3.7
I'm using the newest version with a clean install.

Has anyone else noticed this or is there somewhere in the admin that turns this on and off and I can't find it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I would guess that you have a bad or missing upload of some admin files.

As I just overloaded a 1.3.7 install with 1.3.8a files and the date boxes are there.

Re: Can't set dates for featured products

Thank you so much for your reply. The person who did the install checked all the files on her computer against the ones on the server and there aren't any missing that she could see, unless they were missing from the zip file.

Could you tell me which file(s) we should be looking for? If we have those files, do we just re-uploaded to see if perhaps they became corrupted during install or can we take those files from my server where I have 1.3.7 installed and upload them into our new site?

We're getting ready to open and I don't want to do anything that's going to cause problems.

Thanks!

Do not use 1.3.7 files in a 1.3.8 install!!

Get the 1.3.8 distribution (link on home page of this site)
Just ftp the admin folder contents/overload to your host

Re: Can't set dates for featured products

I have the same problem in version 1.3.8.a, I upload and replace all the files in the admin, but the problem remains. I try to solve this by trying new code on spiffycallendar and features.php, but the result is the same.

When I see the SQL code i get a different date from that needed on the db. I'm making the neccessary changes on the db directly.

I guess the problem could be on the function zen_date_short($raw_date) and the kind of date set on the calendar javascript.

I will appreciate if you find some solution. Regards.

Re: Can't set dates for featured products

Was there ever a solution for this? I went to add in some featured products for a client and the date boxes were missing. Same thing happens for the specials area. I've tried uploading new 1.3.8a files and the problem still occurs. Thanks!
