Does navNextPrevList need "list-style-type: none"?

Using Developers Tool Kit, elements with the "navNextPrevList" class are divs. And these divs don't seem to contain any lists.

The default style sheet assigns .navNextPrevList a property of "list-style-type: none". Isn't this property redundant?
