Custom Gift Message for Products

I would like to incorporate a drop down menu of pre-existing gift messages and a text box that shoppers can submit with certain products that can be used for a Gift card for the delivered product. Is there an existing module to do this? Or do i need to put this drop down in a php file? if so which php file is it?

Text Attributes can be used and if you set the Option Name as a TEXT attribute then EDIT it you can set the rows and characters to utilize the TEXTAREA instead of just a single input line ...
