Placed a tester order - but not working

Hi,

I am in the process of testing my site. I placed an order for something which costs only 0.03p and it took me to paypal and I paid through paypal. The payment has gone through ok but I have not received the emails that I should get as the shop owner or the emails I should get as the customer and the order is not showing up in admin???

Please help!:shocking:

Just tested it again with a free item and it all worked ok:dontgetit

So basically if something is free the order goes through but if it costs anything the order doesnt go through:cry:

tried it again and still not working.

within the admin-modules-payment I have this

Payment Zone
--none--

Is this ok??

can anyone help me with this??:cry:

Dont you see any payment modules in Admin->Modules->Payment

Yes. I have 9 in total and they all have a red circle apart from Paypal IPN which has a green circle with 0 and it says processing next to the circle. Then when I click that all the details on the right come up (i Have installed it).

Can anyone help????

What version of zen cart?
I recall this use to happen and its a common problem

I have deleted and now reinstalling paypal module to see if that helps. What should I put here?

Thanks for the link - but I have done all of that.

I noticed in the link before that the person had to use -
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr

instead of -
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

I currently have - https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

and so thought maybe I should also change it to https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr

Or should I change it to the uk one???

Any idea? Wuld this make any difference?

ok, so I re-installed it and changed it to the uk one (cgi bin thingy!).

Is there any point in me checking this then if you say it doesnt matter??

I am currently contacting my host and it looks like the return address is different to those suggested.

Auto Return for Website Payments - set to on.
Provide the Return URL: http://www.myz_domain.com/MY_SHOP/index.php?main_page=checkout_process (for nonSSL sites) or
https://www.myz_domain.com/MY_SHOP/index.php?main_page=checkout_process (for sites with their own SSL Certificates) or
https://myz_domain.secureserver.net/MY_SHOP/index.php?main_page=checkout_process (for shared SSL)

Could this be the issue?

Is it worth my trying another order once I have done this? WOuld this stop the admin from picking up the orders and me being notified by email????:dontgetit

All sorted now.

I downloaded the patch within the link and also added the PDT Token (Payment Data Transfer) which wasnt mentioned on the how to set up paypal link I had previously been given.
