Importing products

One project this newbie is going to look at is for a friend who owns a helicopter parts business.

He has a database of 10000 products.

I guess it's possible to import a CSV or other file type of products into zencart? What's a good general approach to doing this, please? At this moment, it's just one big Excel table of data, each record having a code, a description, a price and number in stock.

All ideas and suggestions welcome!

Re: Importing products

Easy Populate. Although that only available from an external site (Google "Langer's Mod Hole) that's the standard method for doing bulk uploads to Zen Cart.

Do you have a good url for it? I tried http://www.modhole.com as that's what google resolved. but the site seems to have been hacked or lost the mysql hook as all I get is garbage :-(
