Why am i getting these messages

because this file is missing would be my best guess
includes/modules/require_languages.php

it should be in your zen cart zip file that you downloaded from sourceforge

Can i cut/paste this file in that directory without having to modify other scripts?

Yes, you can just upload a fresh copy of that file to its proper location on your server.
