Free shipping question

on the free shipping and/or free shipping module, how do I make sure it only gives free shipping if the total AFTER any discounts or coupons is over my $75.00 amount?

As of now, if a customer buys items totaling $75.00 and then use a coupon for say 10% off, it still gives free shipping even though the total (after coupon) is under $75.

I am having the same problem. Is there a solution for this? This is costing a lot of money in losses.

In admin->modules->order total, try moving the shipping AFTER any coupons and discounts.

That was one of the things I tried before posting here, but that does not fix the problem, it just changes the spot of the shipping.

You could try admin > modules > shipping > free shipping options.

Hello Phil,

I tried that as well, but it does not work. It seems that the discount is processed in such a way that the cart does not recognize the final total amount being under the amount free shipping is supposed to apply to.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I want to give discount coupons and have the total for the free shipping be calculated after the discount is taken.
