Control # of products per category page?

Hello all,

I recently switched to ZC from osC (yeah!) and have a few hiccups along the way.

One of them is the ability to control how many products per page are displayed in my different categories. I dug through my Admin and checked in the FAQ here, but didn't seem to find the answer. I'm sure it's very simple, but I'm just not stumbling on it.

You can edit these setting in the admin:

configuration -> Maximum Values -> Products Listing- Number Per Page

EDIT: oh yeah try using his module if you need to do it for each cat.

A number of settings that clearly relate to particular pages are put into the min and max values admin pages. There is logic to this, but they really should be noted on the individual admin page like "To set x, y and z, see Configuration > Maximum Values."

There is no need to use my mod unless you want to allow customers to choose the number of products to display. If you just want to set X products per page and that's it, follow gjh42's instruction.

I just needed to increase all of the categories, not individual ones, so the Max Values page did the trick! Thanks!

On that same topic, how can I control that same value on the admin side? osC will list all products per category on the admin and I prefer that over paging through multiple screens to find something at the end of the alphabet...

Configuration > Maximum Values > Maximum Categories Products Display List.
