A main page

I tried to search for what i am trying to do, but come up short.

I want to make another page to be exactly like the main store page, with all formatting/text/sideboxes and ect.... but different center content.

I want this page to load first. I want different content in the middle of the page describing services and such, not related to the products i will be selling.

Im sure this has to do with the CSS files, but i am not sure what i should do and how i should do it....

2. I am also trying to get rid of "New Products for Janurary" as well. Im sure ill figure that out once i get the "new page" figured out.

Admin > Configuration > Index Listing to turn off the New Products box.

You can create the text describing your services etc, by simply going to Admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor and editing the define_main_page.php file.
