Please Help!!!!!!!!!!! I busted my meta_tags file and my site

Somebody, anybody.....I need help! I have been trying to change my description on meta.tags.php and have obviously screwed up big time:oops:, as when I try to get into my admin, this is the message I now get:(.......

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/imagi24/public_html/includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php on line 20

Now I can't do anything, I really need some help before I tear my hair out...LOL!

/public_html/includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php
You should have this if you are editing this file first off

/public_html/includes/languages/english/your_template_name/meta_tags.php

If you have downloaded Zen Cart and have it expanded locally FTP this same file from the distribution to your host. If not get it and expand it.

Re: Please Help!!!!!!!!!!! I busted my meta_tags file and my site

What they mean is that you did an edit to a Core file instead of saving it to 'your_template' dir. Whenever edits are done to a Core file, it is presumed a person is using a Custom Template, not the Zen Cart default one.

Are you using a Custom Template?

To correct your problem you will need to reupload a file from the original Zen Cart zip file you downloaded. Specifically this file:

includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php

The learning is in the doing.
