Featured Products Sorting

What does this mod do?
Featured products sorted adds another field while setting up the featured products in the administration. This will allow custom sorting for featured products sideboxes and featured products listing instead of having the featured products in a random order.

I have done this mod on a 1.3.8 base install and haven't tested it on older versions.

If you have any suggestions or comments or questions, feel free to ask.

Can the changes in this contribution be modified to allow sorting Specials in the same way?

I am not a programmer, so would not attempt the changes myself without some feedback.

Installed on my offline site, and the changes to includes/modules/pages/featured_products/header.php.php are forcing the product sort to always be per the assigned order, and the sort box has no effect. Is that what you expected? If so, the sort box should be deleted.

I think the assigned sort order should be the default sort order on the Featured Products page, and the customer be allowed to use the current options to re-sort, but that is not what I am seeing.

I installed an implemented it without any trouble.

How to show people that there are more than one item of Featured? I put the max listing to be one so it only shows one F. product. I saw in some sites there is an arrow after the word FEATURED to show people there are more than just one. How can I do that?? Thanks.
