Error when sending mais with edit_orders

Hi,

when I use edit_orders to change order status, I get the following error message:

Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function

Also there is no data changed after this message appears.
Sending mail with other built-in modules works perfectly.
Any ideas about this problem?

I have just started getting this same error:

"Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function".

This is happening not only in the admin but it's happening to my customers ans we're getting duplicate orders because they hit the back button and do it over again and again. My credit card customers are also getting charged 2-3 times too. :(

What hosting company are you using?
