Catagories

Is there anyway to remove the numbers showing how many items are in which catagory in the catagories box?

For instance:

Catagories
shirts (5)
hats (2)

I would like it to only have the catagory title

Catagories
Shirts
Hats

Admin panel: Configuration --> My Store --> Show Category Counts.

I thought I saw a post about changing the catagory box font size, but can't find it now. Do you know how to do this?
