Multiple Coupons on one order

Is there a way to enable the use of multiple coupons on a single order? I want to be able to offer multiple incentives. For example, I have a small, loyal client base to which I wish to offer free shipping, so I created a free shipping coupon. I also send out occasional coupons for x percent off of your order on my newsletters. I want my customers who have the x% coupon AND the free shipping coupon to be able to use both.

At this time, only 1 Discount Coupon per Order is allowed ...

Nobody have develop something to autorize multiple coupons on one order ?

1] Where can I modify the discount coupon to be applied before sales tax is calculated, rather than after, as it's now doing? Forgive me in advance if I overlooked the obvious!

2] While I don't need to apply multiple coupons to an order, I need to enable the SAME coupon to be valid per item, rather than per order. Since that functionality isn't currently possible [or dare I hope?], I need to modify the instructions shown online in the Discount Coupon section of the checkout. Can you help me locate the specific file where I can make changes to the text? The full string, such as "cart/includes/xxx/yyy/zzz.php" as a rough example?

1. I don't really like the order, either. However, something you may not have noticed is that it re-calculates the tax after you enter the coupon code. Example: I have items in my cart. I click checkout, select shipping method, and on this screen, it shows my sub-total with tax + shipping. Then I enter the coupon code and payment information, select Continue Checkout, and the next screen shows again the sub-total, plus shipping, and the discount and re-calculated tax. So, it does take the discount, then calculates the tax on the discounted amount. It just does it in a weird order. Hope that helps.

How could I limit the number of Admin initiated gift certificates to one per order?

A customer registered 9 times with different emails to get the unique gift certificate code then emailed them all to one email and used them all on one order which is NOT permitted. :no:

There really isn't a way to stop this from happening other than to monitor this type of activity yourself ...
