column product display - bug with displaying more than 18 at once?

i currently have the "Maximum Categories Products Display List" set to 30, but with the column module installed, i can only display 18 per page.. does anyone know why this is?

These are products & not categories...

Try checking your setting in maximum values for Products Listing- Number Per Page

Bug might be operator induced
