Admin panel doesn't reflect the user side of my ZC!

After having a problem with my ZC, Eventually I had to set a brand new ZC from scratch, so after installing the ZC I connected to my old database which saved me a lot of time to get all my products back on line, but when I went to my admin panel it didn’t reflect what is actually exist in my ZC, It shows the default products and categories for ZC, how can I fix that , Please I need help ! Thanks in advance.

Check & compare the configure.php for th admin and in particular the DB entries

And you should actually import the DB and NOT just connect to another that might be inuse with another install or worse your live site

I did this I compare the catalogue/admin/includes/configure.php iwith catalogue/includes/configure.php to get the connection information from there and that I got ! I don't understand what to import exactly !! can you please specify what exactly to be imported ? as I made a back up for the SQL on my server before I set the new ZC, and I saved the Images on my local drive. thats how the admin side looks like after connecting to the DB !

Setup your new ZC with a new DB

Use phpmyadmin to create a backup of your populated store DB.

Use phpmyadmin and the new store db and import the backup to this DB

If same Zen Cart versions then you are done
