Display only a dropdown list in frontend

I'd like to display categories and products only with dropdwn list. Once a categorie is selected in the first list, the second dinamically change the products (see http://www.easylamps.fr ). Somebody know how can I set up this or if is there a module for it? Thanks a lot!
