Search function no longer working after doing an upgrade...

Try searching for "test" it gives no results... yet clearly, there is a product named "test".

Any ideas?

Brand new installation, it was working, and then I started messing with a different template, however, I left the Classic Green as it is, and all of a sudden search stopped working when I switched back to Classic. Neither templates search properly.

I am also having same problem. After upgrading to v1.38 my sercah function doesn't show any results. it just breaks. website is euromartonline.com

Brian, do you have an untouched template to test? For me I thought that it was the template initially but it turned out to be not the case because I re-installed the virgin classic template. Why don't you try that and report back to me? Let me know if you have any success.

Anyone else have a clue? That's 2 people with similar problems.

I thought it was something that I did after upgrading, but I do a search for one thing and it returns all my products. I don't know if my problem is similar to everyone elses, but this is what is happening after my upgrade.

Yes I have tested with classic template version and it is same problem. Does any body know any workaround?

Why don't you set up a new fresh site ... in a new folder+database.
Add a couple products to search for.
What happens?

If it works correctly, then you busted something during your upgrade or your template changes.
