Has Anyone Ever used Zen Cart as a visual catalog only?

Hi Zenners,

I have a bur nig question. Has anyone ever set up a zen site to be just a "visual" catalog?

By that I mean it has products to view, but it does not have a method of purchasing them?

I would like to set up a site full of products to view, and for people to make product inquireies or catalog requests, but not actually be able to purchase from the site.

The reason being is i deal with several drop ship companies, and the volume of products is impossible to keep up with live inventory.. so i want people to see & ask about the products, and or request a catalog, then on the back end, after someone picks a product & i verify availability, Ill provide an online order form...

Anyone? Thoughts?

Yes I was working one. Zen has a section called Store status.
You have three options here:
Normal store allows you to buy
storecase no prices
shorecase with prices.

nomad
ps located at admin/configuration/My store
then look for Store Status
