Is it possible to have some subcategories display products in rows without pictures?

I am really impressed with the functionality and customization that is available in Zen Cart! This is a great piece of software!
Unfortunately, I think I have run up against the wall of my limited abilities. I have several categories of products on my website at http://www.alpineaire.com/zcart. Some of the categories display just fine in the standard format, but there are two categories (http://www.alpineaire.com/zcart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_9 and http://www.alpineaire.com/zcart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_10) that I want to display in a single row format without pictures and with both subcategories and products displayed on the same page. I would like the page to look kind of like this: http://www.alpineaire.com/pouches.htm, except that I'd like to have an "Add to Cart" button on each row.
So here's my question: how can I modify just those two pages? Can I create pages in my templates folder that will replace the standard pages? What URL (or filenames) would I use? Is this something that can be done only by modifying code? If so, any help in determining which files I need to change is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm... well since no one has replied to my question, maybe I'd better rephrase it or separate it into different posts.
First, is it possible to have different product display pages? Do the product display pages have to be global? What do people do who have very diverse product types that they would like to display differently?

Is it possible for you to create a "graphic" of how you want this layout to appear? It may be that there are existing settings (unlikely) that could be used.

It is more probable that you need some custom coding - and quite a bit of it! (Maybe not worthwhile).

PS: I think your site looks just fine the way it is.
