So, if I understand correctly, I would use this to track stock coming into my store? If my supplier has shipped etc?

Re: Delivery control

Yes...

It is used for easier stock entry and better delivery control.

You can create an order, when you make an order with your supplier.
Than mark is as delivered, when you receive it, and your stock will be updated.

Clear?

Re: Delivery control

Hello Loutka,

Looks really good in the picture, and the idea sounds great. I had a problem uploading the SQL. It came back failed. I have a prefix of zen_ for my tables, but usually sql works ok.

Hi,
when do you get this message? Is there any connection with this module?

Hi, prefix zen_ is the problem probably...

You should create two tables delivery and delivery_products to work with this module. It's not written very smart, but it's working. :lookaroun

So solution could be:

  1. make tables without prefix zen_
    or
  2. change all instances of tables delivery, delivery_products, products_description and products in module's source code

The second solution is wiser  I'll fix this in next version...

Let me know if that helped...

Re: Delivery control

Obviously you have Admin Conrol module installed, right?

Go to Tools -> Admin Settings and make sure 3 checkbuttons for delivery files (at very bottom) are checked.

Let me know if that helped...

Re: Delivery control

When I try to install the SQL Patch through ZenCart it comes back as failed, when I try to install the SQL Patch through PHPMyAdmin I get an error that says
Error

SQL query:

CREATE TABLE delivery ( del_id double NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT ,
del_name varchar( 60 ) default NULL ,
del_date date default '0000-00-00',
del_status tinyint( 1 ) default '0',
del_delivered date default '0000-00-00',
PRIMARY KEY ( del_id )
) CREATE TABLE delivery_products ( del_id double NOT NULL default '0',
prod_id double NOT NULL default '0',
prod_quantity double default '0'
)
**MySQL said: **

Re: Delivery control

I had the same issue on my 1.37 install

I fixed it by manually creating the tables

i dont have much more than that though... the delivery report shows up under REPORTS in admin but the buttons dont work and there is no data and no real instructions to guide me in the right direction...

I am saddened to say that this is a mod in dire need of some sort of support / manual for use

Please please someone who knows more than us mere mortals give us some clue :)

great idea for a mod :)

I have cereated this mod and made it working fine for me...

Re: Delivery control

Try installing the first create table and then the second create table.

The second insert is to fast after the first one and cause it to give an error.

Inserting it seperately will do the trick.

Re: Delivery control

The SQL error comes simply from the fact that the statements don't end with a semicolon. The code should be :

CREATE TABLE delivery (
del_id double NOT NULL auto_increment,
del_name varchar(60) default NULL,
del_date date default '0000-00-00',
del_status tinyint(1) default '0',
del_delivered date default '0000-00-00',
PRIMARY KEY (del_id)
);

CREATE TABLE delivery_products (
del_id double NOT NULL default '0',
prod_id double NOT NULL default '0',
prod_quantity double default '0'
);

However, I have the same problem of the buttons don't work and how on earth am I supposed to use this mod anyway? We need some very basic instructions here.

Re: Delivery control

I have repaired the error in the sql table.

That is not the only issue we experience here.

The mod buttons does not work on all the systems.

I think it has to do with the fact that it was specifically written for php 4 or 5

Can anyone clear this up for me ???

Re: Delivery control

I've installed eveything, but it won't allow me to add any deliveries. No error messages, just 'Delivery' at the top and the rest of the page is blank.

Re: Delivery control

Hi guys,

When i try to add a delivery i get the following error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SELECT MAX(del_id) FROM delivery)' at line 3
in:
[SELECT del_id AS id FROM delivery WHERE del_id = (SELECT MAX(del_id) FROM delivery) ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

any suggestions??
