Default product type selected?

I would like to set the default product type to be "product - Music" instead of "product - General" when creating new product.

How can I do that?

Restrict your category to allow only music products, and that will become your default.
To do that, edit your category settings by clicking on the "e" edit button on your category button bar. Then follow the options shown.
