Medium & Large Images

I've got many images uploaded to my images/products directory and am having trouble getting the medium & large sizes to display.

I have the suffix set to blank in the admin panel so theoretically, images/products/large ... should contain the correct large images. What other configuration might be causing this problem?

Re: Medium & Large Images

For this to function automatically you need to have 3 images of differing size

the smallest is uploaded to the /images dir when you create a product the other two are FTP'd to these locations respectively

/images/medium
/images/large

naming is

image.jpg
image_MED.jpg
image_LRG.jpg

Do this and you will be pleased

Re: Medium & Large Images

If on a PC win box create the medium images in a folder at say c:\medium and then at the cmd prompt enter

ren c:\medium*.* _MED.

Then you can do the same for large

Re: Medium & Large Images

I'm using your system of having the images in "images." Originally I wanted a "products" folder but that seems to break everything.

Then I have a medium & large folder of which I have the suffix turned to blank (in the admin panel). This way I don't have to deal with renaming files. They're in a different folder so they shouldn't need to have a different name.

Everything is working great. Thanks for everyone's help!
