I too have been playing with some of the settings, changing the web payment process page settings and IPN settings etc, all with no joy..

Its a shame, as its a great mod, so I really hope we can find a fix

Hey guys thought I would check this out on one of my stores and i'm getting a 404 error when browing site and this error in admin
Error Failed: 1
Error ERROR: Cannot create table module_version_tracker because it already exists
Warning Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details.

Looked through thread for solution and set admin/includes/module_installation permission to 0777, and still no dice any help would be appreciated :)

But then the user will not gain anything from it, he will get to a page-not-found or an error page depend on the situation. No harm done.

I think you need to goto your database and delete the table _module_version_tracker to solve this problem.

Hi all,
I am new to SSU and zen cart.

After installing ZC 1.3.8 and couple modules and SSU, I am having trouble setting the file extension.
By default, the extension is not set so all my site looks like mydomain.com/login, mydomain.com/contact_us.

After I go to Comfiguration > Simple SEO URL > File Extension and set it to html (without the dot).
Now the site does look like mydomain.com/login.html, mydomain.com/contact_us.html
However, all links and paths returns to home page only now.

Please let me know how I can fix it, thanks.

Also, aftter setting Set Link Alias Status to True, is it supposed to have an option under Extra > Simple SEO URL Manager to let me add my own static link?

Have you had any success resolving the PayPal issues and SSU ?

I too am anxious for a PayPal IPN Fix. Great module!

I put the file ipn_main_handler.php to exclude list and then the Paypal IPN works fine.
Dunno if it should just work fine when not adding ipn_main_handler.php to the exclude list?

Under Configuration, Simple SEO Url, then under "exclude list" i added "ipn_main_handler.php" next to advanced_search_result. I didn't leave a space in between the comma and "reset all cache". Still no Paypal IPN orders working. Am I doing something wrong?

Im sorry everyone not showing up a few days. We got a huge work load coming suddenly at my work place here and every night when I get home Im literally beaten up and unable to even turn on my PC. Give me till this weekend, I have a new version coming out soon which will fix all known bugs.

:yuck: ########## bad add-on. The worst addon i used. I set up my site with three days. The ############## SSU corrupt it in few minutes.:censored:

Always back up your site/database before installing any module. This will save you a lot of frustration. Module worked great on my 2 sites except still waiting on a PayPal IPN fix.

Bad habit to just complain and not give any indication what went wrong. Maybe the problem is as simple as not following the install instructions? Little things can screw up big time. Backup is a must. So maybe try again!? If you report errors and stay polite, you will find people are willing to help.

Zen Followers and Totally Zenned, etc... always take care of us sooner or later!!!!!!!!!! Well Put MyDanilo...............Somethings just take time!

i've managed to install ssu in my site. but there's a problem in Image handler 2. it doesn't show up images;

I don't know what problem you are having. But maybe my approach will help you.

I had an issue when I first installed SSU: the homepage of my store would not come up. It appeared "broken", but since I was able to load cat and prod pages the site was obviously still there and working.

My fix was adding index.php to the exclude list.

My Exclude List setting:
advanced_search_result,index.php

Is there any known issue with thid mod and the Contact Us, Register, and Login pages?

Something changed last week and all of those pages pop errors. Adding to the shopping cart does nothing, register shows "ERROR_SECURITY_ERROR", Contact Us doesn't recognize valid data. We have SSL and the https://www.mysite.com works, so I believe the SSL is OK. I tried adding login.php to the exclude list but that didn't work.

I'm still looking for a solution, but I wondered if SSU might be affecting my secure pages.

My problem is the same as in this thread (but this is not a solution for me)
