Simple SEO URL (OLD version) [support thread]

No DIce- I tried to exclude it- I just found out that my tell a friend is also no good
I'll try to exclude that also.

i am checking right now the link you send it is right now the 2 things added to the exclude list or you took them off. because when i click it is opening the same style like it isn't added.
if it is added check out is there any spaces because it needs to be no spaces

for tell a friend ,tell_a_friend

it fix the problem

tell a friend is now properly excluded-

I also can tell BUy_now is not the correct term to exclude.

if i could just turn all of seo off for a second i could see what term to exclude

please add to list ,add_product,product_reviews_write

i realize that there is a problem at product reviews

also don't take out buy_now

buy_now,add_product both needs to be over there

no capital letters

I was wondering if someone know how to get the ez pages to rewrite the name of the page to be the same as the title of the page. I had posted but I received no response.

Right now it is writing: "www.mysite/pages.php?ID=2"

I would like them to write: "www.mysite.com/metatitleofpage.html"

so if the meta title for the page is history & information, the name of the site will be:

"www.mysite.com/history-information.html"

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get this accomplished?

I have changed the name in the filenames.php to the name of i would like...

that would make me the correct page name but it would not reference the correct pages because I need to change other information in the ex pages coding...

Where would i go to change all the names in ez pages from "page" to the name I would like for all the pages?

hi dave i forgot to say something after you add all suggestions can you reset cache under admin>extras>simple url manager reset all cache

thanks for the help, I still never got it fixed. I did find out through trial and error that if i turn on quantity boxes in the admin it drops the buy it now button an replaces it with my add to cart button- then it works, i just have an ugly quantity box showing. It'll have to do for now. I think somewhere i coded in that buy it now button when i was reading a thread and that why its not picked up by seo.

I'm trying to find out how I can edit the URL for individual pages on my website. At the moment they appear as 'http://puredesigncompany.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=page_2' for example- when I would prefer this to read 'About Us'.

I've been trawling through the forums, including your thread, and although it seems people are talking about something similar, I can't seem to find the answer :cry:. Please help!

I don't have an about us but i believe it would work.

I only have had to exclude tell a friend and write reviews so far. other than that one small glitch with my buy in now button and i have been ok.

Okie, after months went missing due to various problems, here is the long promised version which fixes the issue with Paypal IPN (tested) and other paypal payment methods.

Also fixed redirection error

Please check on a test site, do NOT use on a live site yet until we make sure no fatal error exists.

One quick note: to check paypal IPN please test it in live mode (since with the sandbox the info is not sent back to ipn handler). You should be able to cancel the transaction later and lose nothing at all (on both ends: seller and buyer)

Hey I just removed my zen folder but now all links somehow point to the old store url.. I tried admin-extras->seo manager->reset all cache but just got this

It looks like your folder did not allow the manager to write a file, open /admin/includes/module_installation and do this:
add a file named: .keep

Now, as for it pointing to your old store, SSU does not cache the store url, my wild guess: something is wrong with your zencart configure file, recheck it in includes/configure.php

PS: and make sure you use the latest version which I attached in the previous post.
