Force the Use of the WWW Preamble

Hello Everyone,

I have been running my Zen Cart for a while and I absolutely love it. During this time I have had one annoyance that hasn't really been a problem until now.

For some reason, my Zen Cart forces user's web browsers to drop the WWW preamble for my web site. So, instead of http://www.ozelloshrimper.com, they land at http://ozelloshrimper.com/.

I recently incorporated site mapping functionality into my installation and have it programmed to combine sitemap files with another sitemap application I use for other parts of my site. The addresses from the Zen Cart sitemap generator all default to the http://ozelloshrimper.com address while the remainder of my site adds the www.

For conformity's sake and for more effective indexing on Google, I want to keep the WWW preamble. Any idea how to do it?

Re: Force the Use of the WWW Preamble

Well, I figured out the problem.

I modified the following line in the includes/configure.php file to include the "www"

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.ozelloshrimper.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.ozelloshrimper.com');

Before, they did not have it in the server designation and that was what was forcing the site to revert to http://ozelloshrimper.com

Hope this helps someone else down the line.
