Admin Login Issues - Very Strange....

Something strange is going on with my admin and i'm hoping someone might have seen this before and know how to fix it.

When i try to login now it won't let me in, but instead of coming up with the normal screen which says " You entered the wrong username or password."

It just refresh's the normal login page....

I've tried adding a new password into the database but that was no help, i've also tried replacing the login.php file incase there was something wrong with that but no help...

What version of Zen Cart? Did you make any changes recently?

I'm running V1.3.7 and hadn't made any major changes at all....

I'm having the exact same problem. The difference is I just changed servers and I'm using 1.3.0.1 The test site was working fine. The problem started when I changed the database from my test database to my store database. I ran the fix_cache_key.php I even resit the password and have the same problem. If I enter the right user name and password it just gives me a fresh login if I enter the wrong one it tells me it's the wrong one. Please help!

I am having the same problem. I couldn't get the database working with my first installation, so I started over. I think I know what I did wrong the first time, and the second installation went well. Once I clicked on the initial Admin sign-on instructions all I am able to get is the Admin login box.

I was worried that I may have mis-typed the user name, but I can't see how to get that reset. Only the password can be reset. I have done that a couple of times, but all I get is the empty Admin Login box. If I enter a different user name it will come back with "You entered the wrong username or password".

Any help would be appreciated.

I just tried something that worked.:smile:

I opened up a new Internet Explorer session and entered the login string. I got a Admin Login box, entered my info, and I'm in.
