All additional images in one pop up?

Right now my additional images are shown as thumbnails that you have to click on individually to see bigger. Is it possible to remove them from the product page and just have it so that when someone clicks to see the main image bigger, they can then click to see the additional images? So rather than saying "larger image" it will be more like you're clicking to see "additional images"?

You can combine all the additional images (as well as a large version of the main image if desired) into one file and save them as the "large image", following the normal naming and saving rules (/images/large/yourimage_LRG.jpg).

When the product main image is clicked, all the additional images will pop up in one shot. You would not have any individual additional image files in this case.

That's not quite what I was wanting. I found the lightbox add on thinger. I was going to try using that but I can't tell if that removes the thumbnails from the product page. Does anyone know?

I don't think there's any mod that shows additional images without having them also shown in some way on the product info page.
You're asking for another whole page that is devoted to selecting additional images. This will require custom coding.

After staring at my shop all day, I've decided that it's fine if the thumbnails are on the page :smile:

I am having a problem with them though. They're all over the page. One is below the text and the second one is below the add to cart button. I can't figure out why they'd be doing this because I haven't edited this page in any way (other than the CSS). http://gleefulthings.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4

I think I'll install lightbox later to get them to open in one window but I'd like to solve the problem with the thumbnails first.

Is there a way to get them closer together? And is there a way to get them under the main image so that the text wraps around them as well?
