customers cant login after move to new host

I have switched my hosting companies due to the previous one not being very good. I followed the instructions on how to switch hosts and all is well, except....no one can log in with their previous accounts to place orders. I ran the fix_cache_key.php and got the following message (not sure if its a problem or not??)

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/rdrascom/public_html/Zen/fix_cache_key.php:43) in /home/rdrascom/public_html/Zen/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 100

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/rdrascom/public_html/Zen/fix_cache_key.php:43) in /home/rdrascom/public_html/Zen/includes/init_includes/init_templates.php on line 78

but then it says it was successful at the end??

I can login to the admin section but no customers can place orders at this point?? What can I try to fix this problem. Once fixed I am upgrading to 138...but want to be solid before I do that.

Thanks

Re: customers cant login after move to new host

my first install I used "file" as the cache option....had a thought this morning that maybe on my old host it was "database" as the cache method and not "file". So this morning I blew it away and restored it properly using "database" as the cache method. I ran the fix cache key again but I still have same problem....I can't login as a customer with my own customer account?? Is there a spot in the database that I need to manually correct the cache as I am assuming that's my problem?? Please help??

thanks

yes....all of my customers are there and all of my recent order and previous orders are there. My template is good to go, etc...Its just that no one can log in. And it they click on forgot password, it doesnt actually send them the password....so it doesnt act like its reading the the customers db correctly or something?? Im at a loss?? Any ideas at all are greatly appreciated...thanks!!

"Error: Sorry, there is no match for that email address and/or password."

Re: customers cant login after move to new host

I had to move my zen cart to another host due to issues that arose with the existing host, and followed the instructions found here https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=100. All is well EXCEPT existing customers can not login...they receive the below error message?

"Error: Sorry, there is no match for that email address and/or password."

I can login as admin and see all existing customers accounts, products, etc.....just exisitng customers can not login. I checked the zen_customers db and see all the entries for first name, last name, email, password, etc.. and can confirm they are populated correctly. I confirmed the cache directory has the correct permissions and has been populated with the original data from the old host. I am at a loss and my store is down until I can figure this out?? Anyone have any advice?? Thanks in advance!!

edit....im currently on version 1.3.0.2 and hoping to upgrade to 1.3.8 after I get this resolved??

Re: customers cant login after move to new host

Well /I created a new account and can login???

Try creating a new account yourself and if you have an old account see if that works...

Post back if this is only with previously existing accounts
