Problem with define pages editor and Bullet Points

It seems that every time I add a bullet point using the Define Pages Editor then things get messed up.
The exact line that starts with the bullet point turns into a line of dashes.
I am using the latest version of Zencart.

Can anyone help to resolve this issue?

Are you using the html editor?

Are you selecting/highlighting the list of text then selecting the bullet icon in the menu bar?

This works on my 1.3.8 install???

Yes, I am using the HTML editor.
Yes, highlighting then clicking the bullet icon.
I am using 1.3.8 but things look fine in the admin area within the actual editor but when I actaully view the page on the website the line that contains the bullet points are all messed up.
