0 in stock and still allow ordering

I woud like to set it up so that if I reach 0 in stock that something comes up like "THIS ITEM IS CURRENT BUT OUT OF STOCK PLEASE BACKORDER"

How or where do I do this?

In the admin under configuration->stock, change "allow checkout" and "product status in catalog" settings and put the text you want in "mark product out of stock".
