Product Listing pages are painfully slow

I'm working on a clients cart, and have almost finished it.
We've just realised though that the product listing page is incredibly slow to load, and often loads with no products in it at all, even though l know there are meant to be products in there.
Categories with subcategories generally load really well, but when you get to the last subcat, the page hangs and then eventually loads blank, just with a heading.
The New Products listing works fine.
Try this link -

http://www.fatcatscardcorner.com.au/products/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=90

this is where we first noticed a problem, (there are actually two products in this category) and l thought it was specific to this category only, but have realised it happens on all the product listing pages.
l've researched a bit in the forum and turned off & on the 'skip 1 prod categories', (it is now turned on as this helps where there are categories with only one product in it)

Cananyone shed some light on this? l've worked with zencart for years, and this is the first time l've ever seen this happen :-(

Re: Product Listing pages are painfully slow

That means you encountered an error somewhere that prevents footer from being loaded.
