1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'on clause'

One more problem, I would really appreciate you guys helping me with..

When someone pays me via paypal ipn, I receive the payment in my email, but for some reason it doesn't show what was ordered..

Same goes in my database... it does show that person is a new member however it does not show what he ordered..

I use to be able to receive a confirmation email but for some reason, I do not anymore.. money just goes to my paypal business account and who knows what they ordered..

ERROR MESSAGE I GET in the PAYPAL IPN DB:

1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'on clause'
in:
[select count(*) as total from cartpaypal as p left join cartorders as o on o.orders_id = p.zen_order_id]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Re: 1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'on clause'

what i meant was.. since i've upgraded from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a (which i doubt is even updated properly on the site) I am able to still receive payments from my site, however, it "DOES NOT" give me some sort of confirmation of what was ordered..

Luckily, i can still log into my admin and call or email the "latest member" that has recently joined my site to confirm if he or she has ordered and what. Personally, this is quite tedious..

I'm happy with everything on my site for the time being, Except for the fact that I do not get confirmations on what was ordered via email, and or see in the admin section what was ordered recently as well..

cheers!

Re: 1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'on clause'

Those are symptomatic of using incorrect module files for PayPal, and/or an incorrectly-configured webserver.

If your upgrade wasn't done properly, then I'm not surprised that maybe your PayPal files are old, incomplete, mixed, etc.

If your webserver cannot receive notifications from PayPal for completed orders, you'll have to fix it via the tips in this FAQ:
http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/PayPal
Granted, if it was working previously, then it's not likely the webserver that's the problem.

Re: 1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'on clause'

Honestly?

Everything.
If your upgrade is incomplete, you should really be double-checking EVERY file on your site.

But, since most people argue with me when I say that, I'll tell you what you want to hear:

/ipn_main_handler.php
/includes/modules/payment/paypal/.php
/includes/modules/payment/paypal
.php
/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/paypal*.php
/admin/paypal.php
/includes/init_includes/init_paypal_ipn_sessions.php
/includes/auto_loaders/paypal_ipn.core.php

Re: 1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'on clause'

Okay..

so i was following the steps that the tutorial has provided me on wiki..

it said to type in my web address/ipn handler.. which i did.. as follows;

http://www.strictlyautoparts.com/ipn_main_handler.php

The error I got was:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ipn_postback() in /home/MYWEBSITENAME/public_html/ipn_main_handler.php on line 81

And that line 81 in Dreamweaver is:

81: $ipnData = ipn_postback();
82: $postdata = $ipnData['postdata'];
83: $info = $ipnData['info'];
84: $new_status = 1;
85: ipn_debug_email('Breakpoint: 1 - Collected data from PayPal notification');

WHAT IS WRONG HERE?? NEED HELP PLEASE AND THANKS!

:huh:

Also, not sure if this helps.. in my admin area when i click "version" it shows:

Zen Cart 1.3.7
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
v1.3.7 [2007-07-19 13:54:13] (Fresh Installation)

PHP Version 4.4.8

Is this right??

StrictlyAutoParts:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ipn_postback() in /home/MYWEBSITENAME/public_html/ipn_main_handler.php on line 81This suggests that your /includes/modules/payment/paypal/paypal_functions.php file is missing or incomplete.
And/Or if you're using v1.3.8 or newer, then maybe this file needs re-uploading too: /includes/auto_loaders/paypal_ipn.core.php

StrictlyAutoParts:

Also, not sure if this helps.. in my admin area when i click "version" it shows:

Zen Cart 1.3.7
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
v1.3.7 [2007-07-19 13:54:13] (Fresh Installation)
Is this right??No, that's not right. It reveals that your website files (ie: php files, etc) have not been upgraded to 1.3.8, but that your database has been upgraded.

An upgrade includes two critical components: the PHP files and the database. It appears that you've only done the database part.
