Missed steps in upgrade of database

I was getting my site ready to upgrade from 1.3.7.1 to 1.3.8a but have noticed that when the site was previously updated the database update missed a couple of steps when upgrading from 1.3.0 to 1.3.7 namely it missed the updates of 1.3.0 to 1.3.0.1 and 1.3.0.1 to 1.3.0.2 shall I include these in the upgrade or do just a upgrade of 1.3.7 to 1.3.8?

I wouldn't think they are necessary being as they are so far back and so much has changed since then. What I would suggest, is to upgrade to from 1.3.7 to 1.3.7.1 then to 1.3.8 then to 1.3.8a, one step at a time. Doesn't take much longer and you'll be brought back to the update page after each step.
