Paying through Paypal but not with account

I have a problem and I need your suggestions. I'm finding that some of my customers are not comfortable with making a purchase through Paypal. I also know that it seems these customers don't realize that you don't need a Paypal account to make a payment with a credit card. I would like to add on the step 2 of 3 Payment Information page under the Paypal logo a line about not needing a Paypal account for a credit card transaction. Anyone know how I can do this? Also, what is the best way for customers to feel comfortable paying by credit card on my site, Paypal Pro or another secure credit card merchant?

Also, what if I have a monthly fee that I'm charging to customers once they purchase an initial package, is there some type of automated way to do this without having to send invoices and automatically charge a credit card on a specific day of each month?

i have come accross the same problem
i install the payåal yesterday, and ask a friend to make an purchase on my shop via paypal without an acount at paypal.

he was confused, as when he live the shop to make the payment on paypal
he could not see the possibility to pay without an acount

it was there well, but not easy for an costumer without paypal experience to discover it right a way.

Now what i did was to find the paypal.php on my server and start editing.
i added few words and lett the costumer understand that he can pay without the need of an paypal account.

even how is very frustrating for an costumer, the best will be a way to explain it better on the shop before the costumer lives to make the payment.

I am thinking off setting up a link to how the paypal looks and how can it be donne without an paypal account, so costumer sees the procedure before going to paypal site.

I had the same issues. i ended up putting this on the shopping cart page: > Please Note: If you are paying by Credit Card, you Do Not need a PayPal account to use them. During the checkout process, you will enter the secure PayPal site. Here you have 3 choices. One, you can sign up for a PayPal account using the supplied sign up form. Two, you can use the link on the lower left to continue without creating a PayPal account. Here, you will enter your Credit Card and shipping information. The third choice is to return immediately back to my store without completing the payment process by using the link on the lower left.

I hope it helps. I wonder if it would help if it was bold or red? something to catch their attention....

What i did was add a link on the payment page that said

Paying by Credit Card? Click here

You guys are more than welcom to add that image to your site and change it. I had many issues with this.. I am actually adding paypal payments pro today, along with an option to call in and i can give them a conf # to input in the payment area when they want to do that. and it'll complete the order.

In your \includes\languages\english\modules\payment\paypal.php file you can edit the text displayed next to the paypal logo.

hi, i have the same problem at the payment method stage, i get 2 option to pay with credit card or paypal.

is it possible to keep the credit card option but when it is selected it still links into the credit card input on paypal for ppl without a paypal account?
