right click disable possible?

hi, i am wondering if there are any good programs out there (preferably free, of course :smile:) that would disable right click & save abilities for my images. I've also heard the rumor that they can be gotten around anyway, since these programs run on javascript, and all someone has to do is shut that down. then they can copy your images. true? :censored:

True. The only option is to Watermark your images. You can do that manually or install a module called ImageHanler 2 and let it do that automatically for you.

There are lots of ways to get around "no right click". As yellow1912 said, IH2 will watermark your images for you. You can see it at work on both sites in my sig.

Don't bother trying to disable right-click. People will just do <ALT + PrtSc>, then edit a copy of that screendump in an image editor. As mentioned above, best to just watermark your images. You only need to watermark MED and LRG versions. This is best achieved using Image Handler2. I created a PNG watermark with a transparent background, so the bulk of the image shows through, but the watermark is enough to deter image copying.
